Poha is a flattened rice dish which is so flavorful and can be made very quickly with only 9 ingredients!
Poha is a very popular dish in Delhi, which is also India’s capital. Flattened rice by itself tastes much like rice, and it is not flavorful by itself. This recipe takes it to a whole other level! Just like many other recipes, even though this dish is popular and belongs to Delhi, it is made in many parts of the country.
What makes Poha so special?
Traditionally poha is consumed for breakfast, but I also make it for dinner sometimes, especially on the days when I am sick or I am not very hungry and would prefer a lighter meal. This is one of my favorites because it keeps my tummy light, takes 10-15 minutes to make and of course is a another flavor bomb!
