Indian Style Tortilla is a very easy flatbread that can be made in no time and needs only 4 ingredients!
This is one of the dishes which is made in every Indian household at least once a week or every single day for dinner or for lunch. The biggest difference between whole wheat/flour tortillas to roti is the flour. Whole wheat flour which is available at the normal stores different from Indian whole wheat flour which is called Atta. Atta is ground up whole wheat and it is much more healthy than the normal whole wheat flour.
What makes Roti so special?
Roti is a bread which can be consumed as a main course for any kind of meal, it is perfect for the lunch box, for grown-ups and kids. I am just sharing the recipe of the basic roti in this post, but the best feature about this recipe is that it is so versatile. Every state has their special kind of rotis, some with flavor variations, some stuffed, no matter how they make it is so delicious!
My daughter loves roti with chocolate spread. I heat up some spread and then put it all over roti and roll it. A couple of rotis and some fruit and she is good to go for lunch.
